What is Hogwarts Legacy?

Hogwarts Legacy is the action role-playing game developed by Avalanche Software and published by Warner Bros. Hogwarts Legacy is set in the Wizarding World of Harry Potter.

Set in the 1890s, players will take on the role of a fifth-year student starting at Hogwarts. With the ability to fully customize your student to your liking, you’ll begin your journey as a new student arriving later than others. Upon arrival, you’ll be given a Wizarding Field Guide by the Ministry of Magic, which will serve as your guide as you explore the Hogwarts grounds. Not only does this guide provide your with information, it will also allow you to earn experience.

In Hogwarts Legacy the player holds the key to an ancient secret that threatens the wizarding world. Possessing the ability to manipulate mysterious ancient magic, you will be tasked with uncovering the reason for the sudden resurgence of this forgotten magic and identifying those who are trying to harness it.

Players that have pre-ordered the game on PC, PS5 and Xbox Series X|S have 72 hours of Early Access, meaning that they can play the game on February 7, 2023.

PlayStation 4 (PS4) and Xbox One

Players who wish to play Hogwarts Legacy on PS4 and Xbox One have to wait a bit longer to play Hogwarts Legacy. The game will be released on these consoles on April 4, 2023.

Nintendo Switch
