Guild Wars 2 has great Content Creators. However, some of them may be hard to find. Therefore, I created a list with a personal Top 10 Content Creators for Guild Wars 2. Since my list does not cover the entire list of content creators I’ve also created a dashboard using the YouTube Data API. Check it out in the video!
Content Creator Dashboard
As mentioned above, I added all YouTube channels that return for the search terms “Guild Wars 2” and “GW2” in dashboard. I’ve embedded it below. For the best experience it is best you use it on your Desktop or Tablet. Use this link to directly go to the Guild Wars 2 Content Creator Dashboard.
#10 Vallun
If you are into World vs. World (WvW) or Player vs. Player (PvP) then Vallun is the Content Creator you should go to!
Vallun has been creating World vs. World montages for a number of years now. Some of these montages are a demonstration of his skill and others are accompanied with commentary. This can be very helpful if you want to get the thought process behind Vallun’s actions. If you are planning on playing a Thief in Guild Wars 2, then this is a channel you must check out.
Most of these World vs. World and PvP videos are centered around the gameplay of a thief.
But no worries, other professions like the Elementalist and Guardian also get a lot of attention on Vallun’s channel.
Vallun has a good understanding of the game’s mechanics and its skills. Therefore, Vallun is great in creating his own builds for specific encounters or gamemodes. In more recent videos, Vallun creates builds that can be used in all game modes. So whether you want to play Fractals of the Mists, PvP or World vs. World, you can use the same build. Of course, you might have to swap a trait or two but the general concept stays the same.
Next to the YouTube channel, you can also find Vallun on Twitch! Here you can see exceptional PvP and WvW gameplay live and chat with others who watch as well.
So, if you are into PvP or World vs. World, make sure to follow Vallun. And even if you are not into those gamemodes, then there will probably be a build on Vallun’s YouTube channel that you can use in PvE as well.
#9 Laranity
If you have been playing Guild Wars 2 for a while now then you must have heard of Cmaj.
Cmaj is famous for covering and creating their own songs with the instruments that can be used in Guild Wars 2. But next to that, they are also quite famous for their exceptional, ahum…, “raiding skills”.
Laranity is one of the members of the Cmaj guild and has made numerous compilations about their raiding experiences. These well edited videos capture the feeling of being on Discord with a group of friends who try out new content for the first time. This video series must have gotten about 2 million views in total.
In more recent videos Laranity focusses on covering and analyzing the new Guild Wars 2; End of Dragons expansion. But Laranity is even more active on Twitch. Here you can find plenty of Guild Wars 2 content being streamed live. And recently, there were Guild Wars 1 streams as well.
Next to YouTube and Twitch, Laranity works as an Indie Game Developer. There are some streams and videos where coding and more technical concepts are being tackled and explained. Make sure to give Laranity a follow once you are done watching this video.
#8 The Krytan Herald
The Krytan Herald has also been around for numerous years in the Guild Wars 2 scene.
On the Herald’s YouTube channel you can find various lore videos about Guild Wars 2.
Some lore is about more notable characters like the Pale Tree. And other lore videos are centered around lesser known characters from Guild Wars 1.
Seeing some attention to the lore of Livia, Koss, the Last Spearmarshal and Saul, is great! Usually these lore videos are bite sized, about 6 to 10 minute long. So, don’t worry, the Krytan Herald won’t drown you in a long winded complex story.
Next to the lore videos, you will also find style guides for your character on the Herald’s channel. In various videos, you will get a top 10 list of the best Backpacks, Longbows, Legendary Weapons or outfits. This can help you a lot if you are deciding on a skin or if you need some inspiration that fits your style.
And finally, there are also a good number of guides on the Herald’s channel. So, if you are looking for some tips to get better at the game, make sure to check those videos out.
This is all accompanied by a very soothing British voice. Make sure to check out the Krytan Herald’s YouTube channel.
#7 Aurora Peachy
Aurora Peachy has been creating Guild Wars 2 videos since 2013! About one year after the game’s original release. That’s a considerable amount of time.
Peachy’s content is extensive. There are a number of videos about new content, new skins, reactions and analysis of Guild Wars 2. But that’s not all, there are even some videos where Peachy visits the ArenaNet office. These were published around the time of the release of the Heart of Thorns and Path of Fire expansions. So, if you are looking for a sneak peak of the office where your favorite game is being made, make sure to check out those videos.
Peachy also streams on Twitch. As I’m creating this video I can see that there are almost daily streams with a variety of content. Make sure to check the channel out. You might like it!
#6 Mighty Teapot.
Mighty Teapot might be one of the, and probably the most influential Guild Wars 2 content creator that we have. Teapot, along with others, host community driven events that often get support from the developers at ArenaNet. But he is probably most known for his high energy reactions and highly skilled gameplay.
Teapot YouTube’s channel is filled with guides, edited stream highlights and deep analyses.
You will also find VOD’s of his weekly podcast called ‘Teatime‘. This airs every sunday night on his Twitch channel. During Teatime, Teapot invites prominent figures from the Guild Wars 2 scene to discuss various topics and the latest news. Right now, the Teatime podcast is on a hiatus but Teapot still streams every day on his Twitch channel.
Although Teapot usually plays end game content or PvP, he is very helpful and is willing to answer your questions that new players might have. Make sure to check Teapot’s YouTube and Twitch channel, you won’t regret it.
#5 Dulfy
Dulfy’s channel is full of guides and showcases of weapon skins. Usually videos on Dulfy’s channel are accompanied by a blog post. Whenever new content was released, the blog was quick to publish a guide for the harder achievements. Many people used the blog, which can be found at dulfy.net, to complete achievements that belong to a Living World update.
The well written blogs, accompanied with images and a descriptive video allowed me to complete achievements that would’ve taken me much longer without Dulfy’s content. Although Dulfy has retired from making content, the YouTube channel and blog are still a great resource if you want to complete specific achievements. The website still regularly gets updated though.
If you are looking for a guide on a specific jumping puzzle, you will still see Dulfy’s channel pop up. Make sure to keep this channel in mind if you are stuck on a jumping puzzle or a Living World achievement.
#4 AyinMaiden
Like Dulfy, Ayinmaiden creates guides for Guild Wars 2. Many of these guides are usually about acquiring specific skins, jumping puzzles and Living World Achievements. Ayin’s channel can be very helpful whenever new content gets released. A guide about a new achievement can usually be found a few hours to a day after the content gets released.
But that’s not all, Ayin will also stream Guild Wars 2 and other games on Twitch. Make sure to keep an eye on this channel whenever new content or the new expansion get’s released.
#3 Mukluk
Mukluk is, like Mighty Teapot, one of the channels that I’d like to watch a lot. Mukluk quickly rose to popularity on YouTube back in 2020. I’ve seen his YouTube channel rapidly grow from just 10k subscribers to more than 50k now! After about a year, and I believe even longer than that, of daily streaming on Twitch Muk made the move to become a full time Content Creator.
And with this move to becoming a full time Content Creator, his YouTube video catalog also rapdily expanded. The Content that Mukluk uploads consists of edited stream highlights and short guides.
I especially like the smooth editing of his more recent videos. These guides or videos are edited by another Guild Wars 2 content creator, Noxxi the Noxxian, make sure to check out that channel as well.
Whenever new content or a new patch is released, Muk is quick to create a summary for the patch notes and provide some explanation on his YouTube channel. As of the creation of this video, Muk still streams daily on his Twitch channel.
On average, Muk uploads a new YouTube video every day. Make sure to check out this channel!
#2 CelloFrag
Cellofrag, to me, is known for two things; Great Elementalist Gameplay in World vs. World and INSANE giveaways.
On Cellofrag’s YouTube channel you can find a number of World vs. World compilations while playing as an Elementalist. All of these videos include a link to the build Cello is using. So if you want to try out the same build, you can do so.
Next to the World vs. World compilations you can also find a number of guides about gearing your character or guide about making gold in Guild Wars 2.
But like I’ve said at the start, Cello is known for his crazy giveaways. It is no exception to give away Legendary Weapons or other valuables on his Twitch streams or YouTube channel. In some cases, he uses these items for science to open more than 10.000 chests to see what rewards you could get.
Bundle this all together and you have a creator that has a lot of in game gold, spends a lot of in-game gold and is willing to share it with you. Check Cellofrag out and you might win something.
Oh, and you will also find some awesome Cello covers on his channel as well!

Look them up in my Content Creator Dashboard, check out their YouTube channel and you’ll find links to their respective Twitch Channels and other socials.
#1 Wooden Potatoes
Wooden Potatoes is the Guild Wars content creator with the most subscribers.
And that should not surprise you. Wooden Potatoes started creating creating Guild Wars content years before the release of Guild Wars 2. This all started with playthroughs of the original game.
When Guild Wars 2 was announced, Wooden Potatoes kept creating both Guild Wars and Guild Wars 2 related videos which haven given him a lot of subscribers! It all started with comparisons of Guild Wars 1 to Guild Wars 2. Mainly about core mechanics or gameplay elements being changed, removed or added to Guild Wars 2.
To this day, Wooden Potatoes still creates daily videos about Guild Wars 2. These videos are nice to watch and also function as an excellent podcast. Occasionally, Wooden Potatoes is joined by Boots to discuss builds or new content that has been added to the game.
Wooden Potatoes also regularly streams Guild Wars 2 and some other MMO’s on his Twitch channel. Definitely make sure to check them out!
That’s a list of the most subscribed Guild Wars 2 Content Creators on YouTube.
